I have golfed for 30 years on and off but really just started consistently getting out 1 time a week about 3 years ago. I’m 52 and sometimes scored ok.
2 years ago I bough the full set of Blackstine irons. I struggled with the 3, 4 and 5 irons but hit everything else good.
But by the end of last summer I had gone back to my old set. My iron swing speed is slow…75mph ish. Over the winter purchased the 5,7,9 woods and hit them once a week and committed this spring to give them the single length clubs an honest effort.
This summer I have played the most consistent golf of my life. The thing about the irons is they go VERY consistent distances and the same swing with 6-LW has made the game so much easier.
With the 7,9 woods specifically I am hitting greens from 160-185 yards regularly.
I had to honestly get used to just swinging smoother and stop trying to compensate and try to muscle my irons.
I couldn’t be happier and will never go back to my old variable length irons.
My advice to anyone is buy them, and commit to them. In reality took about 5-6 times out to get used to them…but since I only play once a week I was a little impatient.
How do I do floor measurements for customer fit for your irons?

I bought a set of demo irons a couple of months ago. All are 5 iron length, used their measuring info. They are pretty and feel good. The problem is my 5 iron is about 20 yards less than my old Pings. All of the irons are about 20 yards short. I have played many rounds and more range sessions with no distance improvement! Help, is there a return policy?

Hi! So you’ll want to compare the loft angles of your 5 to the 5 of your old set. There is no standard loft angle for a 5 iron and that may be why you are not getting the same distance.
The used/demos are final sale. It does take a couple of months consistently practicing at the range to dial in your swing. We have many youtube videos and articles foe you to read that are helpful.
