Introducing the NOVA Hybrid Irons
Designed for the golfer who prefers to sweep the ball from the turf like they do with hybrid woods, as opposed to hitting down and through and taking a divot, as is the case with typical irons. There are many so-called hybrid irons on the market, but in reality, they are simply regular irons with slightly wider soles that fall far short of providing the ease of play that the term “hybrid” implies. In 2011, David Lake designed the industry’s first true line of hybrid irons that combine the playability of a hybrid wood with the inherent accuracy of an iron.
Until now, they have only been available through GRIA Golf, but we decided to bring them back to their true home at 1 Iron Golf.
Our NOVA Single Length Hybrid Irons are as easy to play as any hybrid woods on the market, but, unlike hybrid woods, give you the ability to aim at the pin on your approach shots.
Designed with the senior man or woman golfer in mind who has given up the lower lofted irons and replaced them with easier-to-hit hybrids and fairway woods, they provide the utmost in playability and forgiveness. Graphite shafted for a lighter feel and reduced vibration, coupled with a longer club length and flatter lie angle to promote a sweeping type of swing.

Sometimes the ball is really down into the grass you got to hit down on it which means you’re going to make a divot …..graphite shafts make me nervous cuz I’ve had them snap off so…..are these things going to break up when I hit down on the club ….if so can I
get them fixed from you or can I send the club back….guaranteed or what ?

Hi! Thanks for contacting us. You should never hit down to the point that you are snapping the shaft. Even if the ball is buried in grass it is actually never in contact with the ground. Simply try to sweep the ball from this type of lie.
