I’ve recently bought a set of Blackstones and can easily say they are the best clubs I’ve ever owned in my golfing life (almost 50 years). First round back playing after a while and birdied 3 of the 4 par 3’s with almost 2 hole in ones. So close!! Highly recommended 👌🏼
5 stars all-the-way. I purchased a set of Nova irons in December. At 69 years of age, I can say that these clubs will extend my years of enjoying golf significantly. With the easiest swing, the club does the work. High ball flight with super dependable yardages.
I purchased the Pro-Line sand wedge (53 Degrees) in February to fill the gap between my old L-wedge (58 degrees) and my new Nova Pitching wedge (48 degrees). A perfect fit and I'm very pleased.
I recently purchased a set of Blackstone one‑length irons from a local golf shop, and even though I bought the demo set, the quality has been nothing short of outstanding. The heads, shafts, and grips all feel solid and well‑built, with the kind of confidence‑inspiring look and feel you expect from a premium set of clubs.
What has impressed me the most is how easy it is to move from one club to the next without having to think about setup changes or make constant adjustments.Because every iron is the same length, my stance, posture, and ball position stay the same, and my swing feels repeatable throughout the bag. The result was almost immediate: my strike consistency improved right away, and my contact now feels much more solid and predictable from club to club.
If you’re curious about single‑length irons or have struggled with consistency, I highly recommend giving these Blackstone clubs a try.
My Nova hybrid irons are awesome! Would never own a conventional set of irons again. Loving their performance and ease of use across the set. One swing plane is a godsend especially as we “mature” in life.
The irons fly high and glide through the turf. I am about 1 club shorter in distance but that is an acceptable trade off for ease of achieving a good strike. Wish there were gap wedge and sand wedge options available.
This set is just what I wanted, I also ordered new wedges to go with them and other than the plastic wrap on the new ones, I could not tell the difference. These hit long, the stiff shafts are sensitive to club face angle, so I am working on that.
Looks great and fits just right. Now I just have to wait 'til April when golf season starts up here in Maine,
These clips are easy to install and don't get in the way of anything. I changed from one set to an older set that had very different lofts, and therefore different distances for each club. These clips provide a quick reference for the distance for each club.
I like the idea of the clear plastic that shows the club number. That makes perfect sense but the problem is in the design when you put the covers on which are somewhat difficult (NOVA IRONS) the number doesn't show unless you put them on perfectly.
Worked as advertised. As I get more into golf shape I know that my distance will increase, these will help me to know what distance I'm hitting my clubs as I start to hit longer as the golf season goes from the cold spring to the warmer summer months. Can't wait! No more guessing.
I like how I am able to get the ball in air especially the 3, 4 and 5 irons. Still getting use to them but feel very comfortable with them.
After a few rounds using the new head covers, I find them better to put and take off than the original covers that came with them.
Good job
I have only hit practice balls so far, club meets all my expectations.
I am happy with the customer service.
Look forward to success with this club in my bag.
I really like the look and feel just holding them in my hands. I have a good feeling that I’ll be very happy with them next summer…
As much as I would love to give a positive review about 1irongolf clubs I can’t. When the clubs arrived a was very excited to try them out I have a golf simulator system at home and I went to the driving range. I also warm up with my 9 iron and I pulled out the 1iron 9 and just to check compared it to my Ping G400 9 iron and they were the same size so I am thinking cool. But after warming up I noticed I was only hitting the ball about 100 yards with the 1 iron when I can carry my Ping 130 so I started my normal practice of working through the clubs and every clubs was 10 to 20 yards shorter. I did this for a week and just give up on them. Now they are a 1200 dollar closets ornament. I wish I could say something positive them but can’t
I golf only about 7-10 times a year, sometimes less. Simplifying the game with the same swing using one-length clubs just made sense.
So, I purchased the Pro-Line set including the 3, 5, 7 and 9 woods. I hit probably about 1500 balls in a simulator this past month to re-tool my swing with the goal of consistency and decent distance. Plus, I have a goal to once again beat my daughter and son-in-law this upcoming year, and these clubs are giving me a fightinng chance. For reference, I'm 56-years old, 6'5" and 256 lbs. and can hit the 7-iron about 140 yards now. My swing speed is average. I place the ball in the middle of my stance for the 5 iron through wedges and maybe one ball further forward in my stance for the woods. Same swing for all of them--just two ball positions that are literally a 2" apart. All I care about now is executing the proper swing mechanics. The ball is always in the same place. The woods are all one-length, and the irons are all one-length. So, it really cuts down on the variables.
I don't buy into the reduced distance argument some make of one-length clubs. If you work on your swing and practice sound technique, you can flush these irons/woods just as well as standard, multi-length clubs. Needless to say, I am a fan of these clubs, and absolutely glad I made the purchase.
My nova hybrid irons are just what I needed. I'm a terminal cancer guy ending a year of chemo, beginning two years I hope of imuno therapy. My body is weak, neuropathy in my feet etc. I've been under par, I've pared, I have 8 hole in ones and I love golf. My nova hybrid irons allow me to imagine a come back. Perfect head weight and balance. I put my own sets together at 40" so I'm use to the even length. Awesome irons for me. Check um out if you need them. Enjoy your journey.
Needs to come in 33, 34, & 35 inches, in order to maintain proper feel and lie angle, in order to get five stars. Otherwise, very clever and accurate.
We live on golf course that is located in both Maine and New Hampshire. We both bought the hybrid woods and irons because of the great discount price. Unfortunately, we were only able to spend about 30 minutes on the fairway behind our house as the course was closed. The short test had was positive. We currently have about a foot of snow on the ground and will probably not see grass until March or April, but we will update our review then. Steve Toomey
I purchased used hybrids and put them into play. It was easy to hit them because they are consistent with the length of my irons. Even though they were used/demo they looked new to me when they arrived. I am very pleased with them
Love the new 7 wood. Feels great in the hand and is very forgiving. The club will certainly be one of my go to clubs
My golf game has improved since getting these clubs. Single length makes my shots more consistent. Clubs are well built and I like supporting the smaller mom and pop operations
