I have a set of the Blackstone irons and they are everything as advertised they approve my game by a minimum to 10 strokes. I just purchased Fairway wood and very satisfying.
I have golfed for 30 years on and off but really just started consistently getting out 1 time a week about 3 years ago. I’m 52 and sometimes scored ok.
2 years ago I bough the full set of Blackstine irons. I struggled with the 3, 4 and 5 irons but hit everything else good.
But by the end of last summer I had gone back to my old set. My iron swing speed is slow…75mph ish. Over the winter purchased the 5,7,9 woods and hit them once a week and committed this spring to give them the single length clubs an honest effort.
This summer I have played the most consistent golf of my life. The thing about the irons is they go VERY consistent distances and the same swing with 6-LW has made the game so much easier.
With the 7,9 woods specifically I am hitting greens from 160-185 yards regularly.
I had to honestly get used to just swinging smoother and stop trying to compensate and try to muscle my irons.
I couldn’t be happier and will never go back to my old variable length irons.
My advice to anyone is buy them, and commit to them. In reality took about 5-6 times out to get used to them…but since I only play once a week I was a little impatient.
I bought the demo clubs iron pack that came with 5&7 woods. They were in excellent condition. I’ve only used them once and I’m just getting use to the one length, but so far I’m loving them. I recommend you get yours today :)
I stopped using the clubs and went back to my old clubs I don't like the degrees I like to know what number my club is, I could never figure out the yardage I stopped hitting greens I'm going to sell the clubs at a big loss
While it took a little adjustment in my stance, I absolutely LOVE the Gria Irons (3 - PW) and the Low Profile Fairway 3 Wood. I have never hit a golf ball so straight! I have just ordered the Low Profile 5 Wood to round out my arsenal. Additionally, you will never experience better customer service than what Ron Davis and David Lake provide. This is a 5 star company!
Purchased a set of Pro Lines for myself in 2024 and love them, purchased the close out Regals for my wife in 2025, she loves them. The single length swing makes iron play simpler. She is quickly getting used to the degree designations opposed to typical iron numbering. Now I wish I would have originally purchased the Blackstones for myself, good excuse for me to upgrade after a few seasons.
Hi Debra, we are so glad you love the clubs! As I mentioned in the email I sent you, we do not text our customers and we only email customers information pertaining to their order, for instance, order confirmation, tracking, abandoned cart, etc. As you are not a newsletter subscriber you do not recieve other emails. Please let me know if you can provide examples and I can remedy the situation. Thanks so much!
About 15years I kept looking at the website, I was very intrigued I knew it made sense . 2 years ago I finally pulled the trigger and bought two sets of irons, fairway woods and Driver. I’m very pleased. I also purchased the putter which is very good. It’s very similar to my Odyssey 2ball in my opinion.
The irons are very easy to hit, and I find that since the fairway woods are customized my size, they work better than hybrids. I just recently purchased their nine Fairway Wood. But I gotta tell you, even the three and four irons are easy to hit , it is the same size as my seven, pitching wedge, etc..
Dechambeau made one size clubs famous and so many big brands are copying that, but David Lake had the right idea decades ago! Kudos to you, David Lake.
I bought the 27-47 set of irons. They came with mid grips which was nice not having to change them. First range session, first ball hit was using the 27 (5iron) it was pure and I just said wow. The ball went high, and it went far. And it was absurdly straight. Shot tracker marked it 190ish in the air. I hit another with the same result. The club distances are all about 10-20 yards different so picking a club is easy. For the first time in my life I am picking up green shots from 120-200. I've never left much of a green divot. Not with these. I'm fixing green craters on every hole. I will say lining up with the short irons is different. But I just keep saying trust the club. 47 full power is good for 120-140. But with some power adjustments perfectly adequate inside of 100. Same stance, same swing just adjust power. These clubs are true game changers. Ive played 4 rounds with them. And I haven't looked at my old irons since that first range session. They are comfortable, balanced, and hit long and straight.
I have always felt that the One Irons needed a club to breach the gap between the woods and the irons. I knew that I could manage this by adding a 5 hybrid from a previous set. But, I wanted to stay true to the 1 Iron philosophy. The new 9 wood is the perfect in-brand solution. It's like my old hybrid only better.
A 25 degree wood has a lot of versatility. Again, it fills the gap between my iron distance and the distance of a 7 wood. But it does so much more than that. I have used a 25 to get out of the tall grass. I have used a 25 to sail out of a fairway bunker. I used it to get out from under trees and on occasion chipping onto the green.
The best part of the new 9 wood is that is exactly like every other fairway wood in my bag with the exception of the loft. There's no learning curve. It's like swinging any other wood. The ball gets up and goes just like it is supposed to. For me, it's a Wonder Wood.
You can’t miss hit it with this putter. If you can read a green and judge speed you’ll make a lot more puts. With the small head if you hit it off the toe or heal it’s still going to go where you aimed it. For a taller guy the 34” shaft takes a little getting used to as I have a 36” shaft in my Big-O putter.
I have used my new 9 wood on a couple of rounds. It is easy to hit and has a comfortable grip.
I send them back not because I didn't like them. I love them, but because of health reason can't play golf anymore more, sorry to say
I only have one issue, the clubs work well for me (one exception) but would like them better if they were a little heavier or more mass. I hit them all well except for the 6 iron, not sure why, as I hit the 5 fine.
I was as all of you reading this are, concerned about spending that much on clubs from a company on line but rest assured clubs are quality and I am very happy with them. I was worried about the driver and 3 wood but I’m very happy. Driver is solid and the 3 wood hits very nice. Clubs came when they said they would. Look great and hit better than my Callaway razors. Very happy. Gap, sand and lob wedges take a little getting used to in tight around the green because of the longer shafts but if you’re back far enough where you can take pretty good swing you’ll like them.
The accuracy that I have with the one irons has greatly improved but I am still learning how far to hit each club. So far they are shorter than my old clubs. Thanks
