I added this club to my existing One Iron set for situations where I was looking for faster ball elevation while still maintaining reasonable distance. The new club has delivered for me. As usual, build quality, fit, and finish are excellent. This club is an excellent addition for my limited club carry bag - which is exactly what I was hoping for.
The delivery was prompt and on time .
The hats we purchased were well made.
Very positive experience.
After a year of contemplation I pulled the trigger and made the purchase of the 5-PW, gap & sand wedges set. Previous to 2023 I was a 2 -3 time a year golfer using club that were handed down to me by my father when stopped playing at age 65. I'm +60 yrs old with bad lower back condition due to a sever motorcycle accident and figured these clubs would at least make the game less physically taxing which they do. While I like and believe in the concept of these, muscle memory is strong and its going to take some time to adjust. For some weird reason I'm hooking the ball more than slicing now. Go figure. The clubs themselves seem well made with a nice finish but the grooving seems to be slightly less deep than my old clubs. I've got all winter to get used to the new set up and I'm sure by the spring all things will be sorted out.
Talk about fast delivery! I placed my order on a Saturday evening and 10 days later the clubs were delivered and communication of order status was tremendous.
After buying and using a variety of well marketed clubs over the years, being 80 years old I just bought the last clubs, a set of Regal Irons and a Dark Horse Driver..
The practicality, quality that goes into, plus the professional service that Dave has provided, these clubs will be the last clubs I will buy.

I love the driver, beats my old Taylormade M4 which is a great driver. Similar distance, but more accurate.
Clubs good;wedges no good;backup sevice ordinary;price too much;
Thuoght $1850aud
Actual 2800
Think free delivery false for overseas not worth the money
Made ordering mistake one iron noticed and did nothing to help
Overall not impressed
I have a set of 1-iron woods and irons. There is a distance gap for me between the 7w and the 5i. Really too small to justify another cub but to wide to ignore. I hate to lose the 7w but the 23 deg 4 iron bridges the gap. The 4 iron plays just like every other iron in the set. It give me 4 deg of separation between the 5w and the 5i as opposed to 3 deg between the 5w and 7w, and 5 deg between the 7w and the 5i.
I’m thoroughly impressed with 1iron Golf’s clean and straightforward approach. Golf is already a complex sport, but 1iron simplifies equipment in a way that makes perfect sense. Unlike much of the golf industry, which thrives on confusing golfers with endless new models, 1iron cuts through the noise. Their clear, no-nonsense approach to club design removes unnecessary complications, and the best part is—it works.
The clubs took some getting used to, as they felt heavier at first, but this actually helped me slow down my swing and achieve a great impact feel. After transitioning to a Single Plane Swing with their single-length irons, my ball striking has significantly improved in just three weeks. The clubs, though demo models, arrived in excellent condition. I’ve already ordered more, including a driver, a wood, and wedges, and I can’t wait to try them!
Even with the additional customs fees for shipping to Europe, the overall package is still a great value. At 1iron, you can buy two sets of irons (i3-PW) for the price of a single set from other manufacturers. As a European, I also have to commend FedEx—the shipping from the U.S. to delivery was done in record time. Despite the extra costs, it’s well worth it.
I have played about 30 rounds with the Blackstones. It did take some getting used to the one length. Everyday I feel more and more comfortable and am falling in love with having one swing for all the clubs. My GHIN has dropped to a 14 from a 18 since I switched to my Blackstones. The feel is one of the best I have had. It is amazing to me how the yardage is so consistent between clubs. I would recommend if you are looking at a set of one length clubs.
I finally bought one club to test out what I figured was just hype. I was very wrong! My very first hit, straight and landed within feet of the hole. I am going to buy the set so I can be ready for next year.
I have played 4 rounds with my new clubs and every round is getting better. I am more consistent and have less missed shots.
I’ve tried one length 3 times, never took. I saw an old set of 1 Iron clubs in a second hand store and decided to try again. I have been on your web site and read and watched David’s advice and explanations. That set was an Eye Opener! Everything went strait! After several rounds I wanted to try the Regal set and purchased it. Again, they JUST WORK. I’m going to sell other sets (I have kind of a collection) and play 1 Iron clubs. Thanks for convincing me to try single length again with a set the actually works as advertised.
Just used these for the first time and I do like the 1 length feel between all my irons in the bag. I haven't golfed much recently but am now excited to get back out and go.
My new 4 iron has replaced my favorite 7 metal inadvertently, the iron gives me better directional control and the same distance from any lie, I am pleasantly surprised.
Great Wedges, love the jumbo grips, I will be changing all my clubs to them. Very happy with these clubs.
So excited to receive the Driver and the 3, 5, and 7 wood. Lovely to use perfect Match for the 1 length irons.
Golfer for 14 years, shoot around 90's to 100. I am not an avid golfer. I hit the range no more than 5 times a year, play a few rounds here and there. I don't practice enough to utilize all my clubs. 3-5 iron are too long for me to hit anything meaningful until now. One iron allows me to utilize all my clubs without thinking about it. Same swing, same ball position. Just diff distance. I can practice one club and not worry about the rest.
This is the third set of single length clubs I have played. I had the Cobra F8 SL and was still using a set of Cobra SZ SL irons. These Regal irons are by far a step above the other clubs. They are better balanced and have a better feel at impact. The Regals are a little longer but overall about the same yardages I had been hitting. I’ve also had some nice compliments about how good they look. Very glad I purchased them and I enjoy using them.
