I love the driver, beats my old Taylormade M4 which is a great driver. Similar distance, but more accurate.
I have a set of 1-iron woods and irons. There is a distance gap for me between the 7w and the 5i. Really too small to justify another cub but to wide to ignore. I hate to lose the 7w but the 23 deg 4 iron bridges the gap. The 4 iron plays just like every other iron in the set. It give me 4 deg of separation between the 5w and the 5i as opposed to 3 deg between the 5w and 7w, and 5 deg between the 7w and the 5i.
I’m thoroughly impressed with 1iron Golf’s clean and straightforward approach. Golf is already a complex sport, but 1iron simplifies equipment in a way that makes perfect sense. Unlike much of the golf industry, which thrives on confusing golfers with endless new models, 1iron cuts through the noise. Their clear, no-nonsense approach to club design removes unnecessary complications, and the best part is—it works.
The clubs took some getting used to, as they felt heavier at first, but this actually helped me slow down my swing and achieve a great impact feel. After transitioning to a Single Plane Swing with their single-length irons, my ball striking has significantly improved in just three weeks. The clubs, though demo models, arrived in excellent condition. I’ve already ordered more, including a driver, a wood, and wedges, and I can’t wait to try them!
Even with the additional customs fees for shipping to Europe, the overall package is still a great value. At 1iron, you can buy two sets of irons (i3-PW) for the price of a single set from other manufacturers. As a European, I also have to commend FedEx—the shipping from the U.S. to delivery was done in record time. Despite the extra costs, it’s well worth it.

David….why did you make the change from wrist to shoulder putting

1 Iron Golf replied:
Hi Lou, David uses this putter now, but suggests wrist putting as an alternative if you don’t have our putter. 🙂
Hi 1irongolf.com admin, You always provide helpful diagrams and illustrations.
I have read where you wrist putt. Here in the video, you have changed to using your shoulders.
Just wondering, why the change?
