Used/Demo 1 Iron Low-Profile Fairway Woods
I have only hit them once since I received them but everything that your website said about the results I would get from them was true. I have had my 1 Iron irons for a few years now and love them as well. Hope to complete my set with the driver and putter at some point.
With the winter snow, I have been using my hitting bay in the garage. Still learning how to use these woods consistently. Hoping spring is not the far off and can use my new golf clubs.
Do NOT feel dismayed because these wonder woods have pured steel shafts instead of following today's lemming graphite mantra. Everything about them is top notch.
Length and weight feel great, only hit into net because of snow.
The 5-Wood is an amazing club, just as I’d expected! I own the Driver and 3-Wood, along with the irons, and this completes my set! I’m a left-handed player and unfortunately there’s not always a lot of deals for lefty’s in the retail market. I highly recommend this brand!!!
Very easy to hit off the deck, they greatly reduce miss hits, a tad heavy but hitting a greater mass at slightly slower speeds results in the same, or there abouts, distance to woods that weigh less. Once you understand that it is buttery smooth to play.
I ordered the 5 and 7 Woods to complete my set. Because I was ordering Used and Not-Returnable Clubs I was concerned I might measure my size differently than when I ordered my full set so I emailed One Iron about it. They returned my email quickly. They had the records on my size and that size matched up with my measurement for the recent purchase. They arrived quickly and play as well as all of the other clubs in my set of One Irons. Excellent customer service and I am glad to be playing my One Irons.
I am a 11 handicapper that has struggled with fairway woods for quite sometime. They always felt like they were too long and the swing seemed way too long. I don't struggle with a driver, only fairway woods. I bought the 3w and 5w fairway woods from One Iron Golf. I went to the range and hit 75 balls or so with decent success. The shaft length of these are much shorter than my existing woods. They feel heavier but feel well balanced. I have played around 6 rounds with these woods and I can't believe how straight and consistent I now am with fairway woods. I used to avoid hitting fairway woods and now I look forward to it. I'm hitting or getting very close to the green from 200-220 yards now. I hit the 5w about 205 and the 3w about 225 (after roll out). Not sure why, but I do hit these woods with a lower trajectory than what I am used to. I was hopeful when I bought them, but they have exceeded my expectations at this point. I never do reviews but I decided to on this purchase because I am so pleased. If you are struggling with fairway woods, these can help! They helped me and I wouldn't be surprised if they lower my handicap by 1 or 2.
I purchased a 1iron demo 7w recently. I have carried a 5w for years; it has been my magical club out of the fairway rough, from the fairway, and even off the tee when things go awry with my 3w or driver. I perceived a 7w as something that had limited utility, that wouldn’t come out of the bag in many rounds.
I started reading about how a 7w is a good idea for an average handicap golfer (me). Easy to hit, high trajectory, soft landing, and still able to travel 170+ yards. For me, this sounded like a good alternative to some of the mid irons. So I bought one from 1iron. A demo 7w.
I love the club. The condition was great - little wear, looked like new. And it’s lived up to its billing, easy to hit anywhere and I am pushing 200yds. It has replaced my 5w in the bag on shorter courses.
Highly recommend a 7w, and pleased with the 1iron demo clubs overall.
Everything I expected + more
